Projects:

During this course you will identify a web 2.0 tool (see list below) to use extensively in your classroom. During the last 2 class meetings, you will share your project with other students. Your project will:
  • identify and describe the tool
  • share how you used it in your class
  • share your results

We will collaboratively create a project rubric later in the course. It will be linked/posted here.

Mobile Apps for Education

During this course, you will identify 4 mobile apps that can be used in a mathematics classroom. Apps can be free or paid. Apps can be for Android or iOS devices. You can substitute web-based tools if you do not have access to a smartphone or tablet. You will:
  • post links to your apps on your course wiki page
  • demonstrate your app with the class
  • review the app with the class and explain how it might be used

We will collaboratively create a mobile app project rubric later in the course. Apps will be shared starting with class 3.
